- Honoring Heroes: Our drives pay tribute to the 343 firefighters and thousands of emergency responders who lost their lives during the 9/11 attacks. Each donation honors their legacy and continues their mission of saving lives.
- Saving Lives Locally: Donating blood ensures that local hospitals have the resources they need to respond to emergencies and provide care for trauma patients, cancer survivors, and others facing medical crises. Every donation makes a direct difference to our Baton Rouge community.

We regularly host blood drives at key locations in Baton Rouge, ensuring widespread community participation.
- 9/11 Memorial Blood Drive: In collaboration with LifeShare Blood Centers and the Robert A. Bogan Fire Museum, we hold an annual drive to honor the firefighters who lost their lives on 9/11. As a thank you for their contribution, donors receive commemorative T-shirts and museum tours.
- Summer Blood Drive at BRFD Headquarters: This annual event addresses critical seasonal blood shortages. Firefighters and residents alike are encouraged to donate and ensure the safety of our community during the summer months.
